This simple wargame is devoted to decesive Russian victory on Swedish army in Battle of Poltava in 1709. After this battle Russians took their place as the leading nation of northern Europe. Poltava is classical hexogonal wargame of low complexity for begginers in wargames. Russian player has to defend his position aganst desperate Swedish atack and provide shattering counterstrike after it.
